of the claim anywhere in it. The claim instead sits in [[moc-legitimation-not-origination]], a
deep single-instance map for the identical shape — "a dramatic single-actor origin story...
narrows, as more sources are read, into a much smaller and much better-defended claim." That
map names `moc-attribution-and-origin-myths` as its "general home" and states it is
"cross-linked there as the pattern's home, not folded in, the same way
[[moc-too-clean-to-be-real]] and [[moc-the-number-that-outran-its-evidence]] are deep
instances that keep their own pages."

That cross-link claim does not hold up under a direct read of the parent. `moc-attribution-and-origin-myths`'s
"Deep single-instance maps that hang off this one" section does carry reciprocal entries for
its two other deep-instance maps — [[moc-a-provenance-metaphor-with-a-provenance-problem]] and
[[moc-a-founding-practitioner-is-not-an-inventor]] — added by cross-model audits on 2026-08-18
