[[entity-ludwik-rajchman|Ludwik Rajchman]]: an FBI teletype relaying a
same-night wire story quotes Morris telling the press both the
subcommittee's reason for questioning Rajchman ("communist activities in
specialized agencies of the UN") and the specific trigger for the
subpoena's timing (word that Rajchman might be leaving the country within
days) — the most detailed contemporaneous statement of SISS's own stated
motive anywhere in the file.
