Parapsychologist who served as the American Society for Psychical Research's Director of Research and, in the Society's Summer 1972 newsletter, wrote the earliest contemporaneous account located of Ingo Swann's out-of-body testing program at the ASPR.

Matters to this vault as the byline on the only located contemporaneous (1971–72) primary document in the [[entity-ingo-swann|Ingo Swann]] "remote viewing" priority dispute — and, by Swann's own later memoir account, one of the two ASPR figures (with Gertrude Schmeidler) who chose "remote viewing" over Swann's alternative "remote sensing." His 1972 newsletter corroborates the surrounding research program in detail yet never uses the disputed term.
